The Boeing Company, through Spirit AeroSystems in Wichita, KS, seeks an assembler to support aerostructure production. Qualifications

• Ability to be respirator certified.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for 7+ hours per day.
• All shifts may be required; willingness to work any shift.
• Experience with hand and power tools is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Use hand tools, power tools, air tools and computers to complete/work assignments.
• Perform pickup, rework and incorporate changes to the product as required.
• Work from prints, sketches, specifications and written/verbal information.
• Maintain certifications, qualifications, licenses or permits as required.
• Utilize precision measuring equipment to perform self-inspection of in-process and finished work.
• Perform routine minor machine maintenance and basic upkeep of equipment.
• Move product within the manufacturing area and between operations as needed.
• Support continuous flow of production by assisting team members and cross-training to inspect product.
• Fabrication support: masking hardware, loading/unloading, deburring, hand finishing, light hand forming.
