Albers Aerospace is seeking a General Shop Laborer to support daily production activities by safely performing hands-on manufacturing tasks, equipment setup, and general labor duties in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires basic tool knowledge, attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work as part of a team. Shifts include day and night options; candidates must be U.S. citizens.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret basic work instructions and safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and a commitment to quality.
• Must be safety-focused and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Must be a U.S citizen.

Responsibilities

• Operate hand tools and power equipment to remove excess metal and burs from workpieces.
• Clean, inspect, and maintain tools, machinery, and work areas to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Assist with basic machine setup, attachment installation, and production support.
• Examine finished work to verify conformance to specifications.
• Follow standard operating procedures and all safety guidelines, including the proper use of PPE.
• Communicate any injuries, unsafe acts, or equipment failures to the team lead immediately.
• Maintain accurate records of completed work and material usage as required.
• Support other production areas as needed.
• Assist in general shop housekeeping and material handling.
• Perform other related duties as assigned to support manufacturing operations.
