Job summary

Safran Landing Systems Canada Inc. seeks an experienced technician to inspect landing gear components, interpret blueprints and MB Definitions, and perform functional tests.

You will prepare documentation to meet Safran and Customer requirements while ensuring compliance with aerospace standards. The role requires a degree in aircraft maintenance or equivalent and five years of experience with hydraulic and electrical components.

Qualifications

• Reading blueprints/model definitions and aerospace specs/standards.
• Experience reading ATPs/BVRs and quality documentation.
• Familiar with CANADA aviation regulations (CAR 561).
• 5+ years operating/testing hydraulic and electrical components.

Responsibilities

• Identify proper/improper fits and condition of components using measuring instruments and fixtures.
• Read/interpret blueprints, MB Definitions, ATPs and aerospace standards.
• Prepare documentation per Safran/Transport Canada/Customer requirements.
• Knowledge of shipping/receiving requirements (C of C, Build Records).
• Perform functional tests on landing gear components and troubleshoot issues.
