Job summary

Ducommun Incorporated is seeking a General Helper for the 2nd shift in Orange, CA. This temp-to-hire role supports shop operators by loading/unloading materials, transporting parts, and assisting with various processing tasks required to keep the line moving.

Responsibilities include handling tools and equipment, following work instructions, and ensuring housekeeping and safety standards. High school diploma or GED is required; forklift certification may be needed for certain openings.

• Ability to read and comprehend simple directions, traveler or work instructions, MSD Sheets, part numbers.
• Ability to effectively present information one-on-one.

Responsibilities

• Assist operators in conducting shop processes and setup.
• Load and unload materials onto pallets, skids, conveyors, or trucks.
• Transport aerospace parts to designated work areas for processing.
• Support shop personnel and handle basic hand tools and equipment.
• Read traveler/work instructions to assist in operations.
• Move materials for department personnel and assist with housekeeping.
