Job summary

HEICO Repair Group Aerostructures is seeking a Shop Apprentice to join our team in Miami. You will support experienced technicians in surface prep, disassembly, cleaning, repair, and reassembly of aircraft components in a fast-paced aerospace MRO environment.

This entry-level role provides on-the-job training, exposure to precision tools and technical documentation, and opportunities to advance as you learn FAA-compliant repair methods while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Must be able to use the required hand tools.
• Must be able to read and interpret technical data
• Must be able to take directions and learn quickly
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Follow all company and FAA safety and compliance standards
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
• Ability to work in a team oriented, fast-paced environment
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods

Responsibilities

• Assist technicians in surface prepping, disassembly, cleaning, repair, and reassembly of aircraft structural components.
• Follow safety and quality procedures while developing foundational understanding of materials, repair methods, and FAA regulations.
• Grow into more specialized technician positions over time based on performance.
• Learn to use precision tools, equipment, and technical documentation in a high-tech aerospace setting
