Job summary

HEICO Component Repair Group in Miami is seeking an Engineering Technician Apprentice to join our engineering team. This hands-on position provides training in aircraft component maintenance, FAA regulatory compliance, and documentation.

You will disassemble, inspect, reassemble, and test aircraft sub-components under supervision, read engineering drawings, and help with testing, data recording, and record-keeping in line with FAA and company procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend English.
• Basic understanding of mechanical concepts.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or willingness to learn.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

HEICO Component Repair Group, a leading provider of FAA-approved aircraft component repair and overhaul services, is seeking a motivated Engineering Technician Apprentice to join our dynamic engineering team. This position provides hands‑on training in aircraft component maintenance, FAA regulatory compliance, and documentation.

In this position, the Engineering Technician Apprentice may be required to disassemble, clean, repair, re‑assemble, and test Aircraft Sub-Components in accordance with approved data.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform technical tasks related to the repair and overhaul of aircraft components
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, maintenance manuals, and repair specifications
