Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking a Shift Lead for Lunar Production to oversee aerospace component fabrication, alignment, and integration. You will guide a high‑performing team on the production floor, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence while solving production challenges.

You will collaborate with Manufacturing Eng., Quality, Supply Chain, and Program Management to optimize processes, drive continuous improvement, and mentor technicians toward operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in aerospace manufacturing, assembly, or related environment.
• 2+ years leading production teams, manufacturing cells, or shift ops.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and manufacturing specs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of technicians in fabrication, drilling, assembly, alignment, and integration of aerospace structures.
• Promote a culture of safety, quality, and operational excellence on every shift.
• Execute daily production plan balancing safety, quality, delivery, and labor efficiency.
• Lead shift startup meetings, communicate priorities, identify risks, and coordinate recovery plans.
