• The Sheetmetal Technician lays out, fabricates, and installs parts on aircraft under supervision in accordance with procedures.
• All work conforms to design specifications, quality standards, and customer expectations.
• Interpersonal skills to work in teams or independently and communicate with coworkers and supervisors.
• Safely perform sheet-metal layout, fabrication, and installation on aircraft.
• Coordinate with supervision and Inspection to ensure FAA paperwork and sign-offs are compliant.
• Interpret complex schematics/blueprints and engineering drawings for versioning layouts.
• Operate shop equipment such as brakes, presses, riveting equipment, shears, and related hand tools.
