Job summary

RTX's Middletown, Connecticut facility invites engineering students to join as summer interns to develop measurement techniques for gas turbine engines. You will perform instrumentation installations, sensor development, hardware reviews, engine assembly assistance, bench testing, CAD tool development and reporting, working in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Ideal candidates are pursuing degrees in mechanical, aerospace, electrical, or computer engineering.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a degree in mechanical, aerospace, electrical, computer engineering, or a related field.
• Previous engineering intern experience at an aerospace company is preferred.
• Experience with testing, manufacturing, and technical group projects.

Responsibilities

• Responsibilities may include instrumentation installations, sensor application development, hardware review, engine assembly assistance, bench testing, CAD Tool development, and/or report/process generation.
