Jobot is seeking a Rubber Chemist in Pasadena, CA to join our growing aerospace-focused engineering team. You will develop and optimize rubber compounds and formulations for cutting-edge projects, collaborating with production to implement materials and oversee extrusion processes.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s in Chemistry or Materials Science with 5+ years in rubber chemistry, plus hands-on experience with mixing, compounding, testing, and compliance with safety and environmental

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Materials Science or related field required.
• Minimum 5 years in a similar engineering role.
• Extensive rubber chemistry knowledge for developing/optimizing compounds.
• Proficient in extrusion process and related equipment.
• Strong experience in mixing and formulating rubber materials.
• Excellent problem-solving, attention to detail, and teamwork.
• Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations in rubber processing.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams on product launches.
