Career Staffing Talent, Inc. is recruiting a Mechanical Engineer for an aerospace robotics project in the Seattle area.

This full-time, direct-hire role focuses on end-to-end mechanical design and production-ready hardware for high-rate automated systems on aerospace factory floors. You will own from SOW through CAD, calculations, BOMs and testing, collaborate with electrical and software teams, and translate requirements into robust designs using SolidWorks and GD&T.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional mechanical engineering experience.
• Experience in aerospace robotics or automation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME).
• U.S. citizen or permanent resident (ITAR compliance).

Responsibilities

• Translate customer SOWs and technical requirements into rigorous design objectives and functional prototypes.
• Drive design decisions using first-principles calculations: free-body diagrams, mechanical load analysis, lifecycle simulations, and trade studies.
• Take platforms and end-effectors from concept through prototyping to high Technology Readiness Levels (TRL) for factory deployment.
• Execute all primary 3D modeling and assembly design in SolidWorks.
