Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. is seeking a Hardware Engineer (RF Systems) to join the Electronic Warfare team in Sunrise, FL. You will design, analyze and implement RF/microwave hardware, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure systems meet performance and regulatory requirements.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and 4+ years of relevant experience, with strong PCB/RF design skills and EMI/EMC problem solving. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 4+ years related experience in hardware/RF systems.
• Proficient with schematic capture and PCB layout software.
• Experience with EMI/EMC problem solving and RF/microwave test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Designs, simulates and implements moderate system products.
• Assists with customer or official contacts and communications.
• Specifies, designs, analyzes, prototypes, builds, tests and releases to manufacturing required systems.
• Interacts with vendors and internal teams to meet regulatory standards.
• Up to 25% travel and ongoing project coordination.
