SierTeK Ltd. invites applications for a Respiratory Care Provider Instructor to support CCATT training at USAFSAM in Cincinnati.

The role involves planning, developing, and delivering classroom, simulation, and hands-on instruction under the Site Director, preparing healthcare professionals for aeromedical evacuation missions. The instructor will cover aerospace physiology, emergency airway management, ventilation, ABG interpretation, and transport medicine, ensuring alignment with USAF CCATT

Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required (NBRC).
• Current, unrestricted Respiratory Therapist license in any U.S. state or territory.
• Minimum five (5) years of clinical respiratory care experience in acute care.
• Minimum two (2) years of critical care experience.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current Advanced Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Ability to complete USAFSAM Basic Instructor Course (BIC) within 60 days of hire and 60 instructor hours.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience developing and delivering healthcare education or clinical instruction.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move simulation equipment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, and deliver respiratory care instruction incl. didactic, simulation, and hands-on sessions.
• Provide instruction in military and civilian air transport medicine and aeromedical evacuation procedures.
• Deliver course content per USAF CCATT curriculum; supervise weekly activities.
• Create lesson plans, objectives, and instructional materials; maintain student resources.
• Evaluate student performance via exams, practicals, simulations, and oral assessments.
• Participate in curriculum review and incorporate current evidence-based practices.
• Advise on respiratory care and transport medicine best practices; support disaster response.
• Maintain accurate student records, attendance, grades, and competency documentation.
• Attend planning and curriculum development meetings; engage in professional development.
