Job summary

Odyssey seeks a Respiratory Care Provider Instructor to support the 711th HPW at Wright‑Patterson AFB, OH. You will develop and deliver curricula for respiratory therapy in aeromedical evacuation, including high-fidelity simulations and hands-on practice in flight environments.

The role requires 5+ years in acute care (2+ in CC), active RRT/CRT or RRT, and BLS/ALS; CCATT training is a plus. Contingent on contract award, onsite at the Cincinnati area facility.

Qualifications

• US citizenship is required.
• Ability to obtain NACI clearance.
• High School Diploma required.
• Minimum five years of acute care experience; two years in critical care.
• Active NBRC RRT and CRT or RRT credentials with unrestricted state license.
• Current BLS and ALS certifications.
• Complete Basic Instructors Course within 60 days of hire and 60 instructor hours.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop and deliver didactic, simulation, and hands-on curricula.
• Provide instruction aligned with military and civilian air transport standards.
• Develop and deliver respiratory therapy training to ensure competency.
• Use simulation and high-fidelity manikins for in-flight scenarios.
• Evaluate student performance via exams and demonstrations.
• Maintain documentation and participate in curriculum reviews.
