You will repair airline seat assemblies and sub-components, replace parts and sub-assemblies, and test/triage as directed by OEM drawings and maintenance manuals. You will work under FAA guidelines and may pursue Repairman certification as required; strong collaboration with engineers will be essential.

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Must read measuring instruments and use hand tools for assembly.
• Must interpret manuals, WPS, and QAPs from online portals.
• Must maintain FAA-compliant practices and pursue Repairman certification if required.
• Must train other employees on assembly processes.
• Must use diagnostic equipment and trade-specific tools.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints/drawings to guide assembly and repair.
• Use measuring instruments and hand tools for precise work.
• Follow FAA FAR 145 guidelines and safety requirements.
• Collaborate with manufacturing engineers on new methods.
• Prepare and repair airline seat assemblies and sub-assemblies.
