Job summary

Cyient seeks an experienced Design Engineer to support aerostructures repair development and non-conformance activities. You will evaluate discrepant hardware, develop repair concepts, and prepare substantiation and complete repair documentation.

Responsibilities include hands-on CATIA V5 repair design, coordination with Manufacturing, Quality, Stress, Design and Certification teams, and experience with fuselage/nacelle/secondary structures.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
• Proven aerospace repair design experience.
• Aircraft structural repairs experience.
• Knowledge of metallic and/or composite structures.
• Proficiency with CATIA V5 and GD&T.
• Experience with non-conformance or MRB support.
• Knowledge of repair substantiation and engineering-release processes.
• Strong communication, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Fuselage, nacelle, or pylon product knowledge.
• Experience in aerospace manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with repair documentation and certification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate discrepant hardware and develop repair concepts for aerostructures.
• Prepare technical substantiation and complete repair documentation.
• Support aerostructures non-conformance disposition and repair design.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing, Quality, Stress, Design, and Certification teams to implement repair solutions.
• Hands-on repair design experience using CATIA V5 for metallic/composite structures.
• Work on Primary and Secondary Structures (fuselage, wings, empennage, nacelles, etc.).
