Job summary

SpaceX is hiring a Receiving Inspector at the Bloomfield, CT site to inspect, kit, and ship textiles, hardware, and related materials for Starfall, Dragon, and Starship programs. The role combines receiving, inventory control, and shipping with a close feedback loop to engineering and production.

Responsibilities include unpacking shipments, verifying items against orders, inspecting with calibrated tools, maintaining records, and coordinating material flow to avoid production delays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of receiving/inspection/inventory/material handling in manufacturing preferred.
• Experience with ERP/WMS systems and handheld scanners a plus.
• Ability to operate forklifts and handle hazardous materials certifications when required.

Responsibilities

• Unpack incoming shipments and verify against packing lists; label and quarantine nonconforming material.
• Validate part numbers, quantities, revisions, and conditions per PO and drawings.
• Review quality documentation and maintain receiving records.
