STS Aerospace in Laconia, NH is seeking a Receiving Inspector to join the team. This position is responsible for performing visual and dimensional checks on purchased parts, components, and raw materials prior to stocking.

The role involves reading drawings and specifications, using Inspection Methods Sheets (IMS), maintaining records, and ensuring conformance to quality standards. The candidate should be able to lift up to 25 pounds and operate measurement tools.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED with 3–6 months related experience or equivalent.
• Ability to read complex drawings and specifications.
• Experience using Inspection Methods Sheets (IMS) and inspection testing.
• Proficient in data entry, records management and document control.

• Reviews Certification Packages for accuracy and compliance.
• Reads work orders and uses IMS to determine inspection methods.
• Maintains databases and spreadsheets with inspection data.
• Reads complex drawings and specifications to verify conformance.
• Measures components and tubing with measurement tools.
• Fills out tags, documents and labels; scans packages to document control.
• Verifies calibration of measurement tools.
• Writes non-conforming material reports as needed.
• Moves materials to warehouse stock locations.
• Communicates with suppliers about certification packages when issues arise.
• Prepares paperwork for Outside Processing.
• Maintains safety and work area practices.
