Job summary
A leading aerospace firm in Fort Worth, TX, seeks a Rapid Prototyping Experimental Engineer for their Flight Research Center. The candidate will engage in airframe design and modifications while collaborating with teams to ensure compliance with standards and effective communication. Relevant experience in aerospace and proficiency with ENOVIA and CATIA V6 CAD processes is essential. This role includes a 9/80 work schedule, generous PTO, and various employee benefits.
Qualifications
2+ years of work experience in aerospace with structural design and manufacturing experience.
Advanced degrees will be considered as additional experience.
Inquisitive and driven engineers with a passion to innovate.
Responsibilities
Design solutions to follow design requirements and Bell procedures.
Create manufacturing engineering plans for aircraft installations.
Coordinate with engineering and manufacturing to resolve problems.
Skills
Proficiency with ENOVIA and CATIA V6 CAD processes
Proficiency with GD&T and general part sizing
Ability to communicate effectively
Ability to build and maintain effective relationships
Project scheduling experience with MS Project and/or PPM
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
