Job summary

New Hampshire Ball Bearings, Inc. (NHBB) is seeking a senior Quality Assurance/Control leader to oversee all QA/QC activities within a manufacturing unit in Peterborough, NH.

You will ensure compliance with AS9100, NADCAP, FAA, and customer requirements while guiding cross-functional teams toward a zero-defect culture. You will maintain the QMS, lead audits, manage nonconformances, and drive continuous improvement through Lean, Six Sigma, APQP, FMEA, and SPC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
• ASQ CQE/CQA or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification.
• Experience in aerospace/defense quality management with supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, NADCAP and GD&T.
• Experience with audits and corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the unit's QMS in line with ISO 9001/AS9100/NADCAP.
• Lead internal, customer and regulatory audits (FAA, EASA) and close corrective actions.
• Oversee nonconformance investigations and MRB activities; implement RCCA.
• Oversee inspection and testing of incoming materials, in-process production, and final products.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, APQP, FMEA, and SPC.
• Maintain quality documentation and traceability.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain to ensure quality across departments.
• Support supplier quality management and corrective actions.
• Report KPIs to management using data-driven problem-solving.
