Job summary

Eaton’s IS AER FMC division is seeking a Quality Technician for the 1st shift at our North Charleston, SC plant. The role focuses on inspecting precision machined aerospace components and driving quality improvements through data analysis and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, 3+ years in manufacturing quality, and GD&T/inspection experience. Knowledge of CMMs and QA tools is preferred. Full-time position with standard M-F hours.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a manufacturing environment in a quality role.
• 2+ years GD&T application and blueprint reading.
• 2+ years with inspection equipment and gaging methods.
• U.S. person for export-controlled information.

Responsibilities

• Conduct required product inspections of precision machined components.
• Lead troubleshooting and problem-solving for quality issues.
• Perform training and audits as required.
• Develop and maintain Quality Plan work instructions.
• Collaborate with Quality/Manufacturing Engineers to reduce inspection time.
• Program and troubleshoot CMMs.
