Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Clearfield, UT is seeking a Quality Manager 1 to lead mission assurance activities and drive quality across final inspections of aerospace parts.

The role requires a High School Diploma with 4+ years in quality and at least 1 year of leadership, plus the ability to obtain US Government clearance. You will coordinate with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Supply Chain to resolve issues, oversee audits, and maintain traceability and documentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with at least 4 years of experience in Quality or related field.
• Must have 1 year of prior management/leadership experience.
• Ability to obtain/maintain US Govt clearance and PAR.

Responsibilities

• Promote a culture of quality, accountability, teamwork, and safety across the inspection organization.
• Lead, develop, and manage a team responsible for final inspection of aerospace composite detail parts.
• Oversee final acceptance activities, including visual, dimensional, and documentation review against drawings, models, specifications, and work instructions.
• Ensure compliance with customer requirements, internal quality standards, and applicable aerospace quality system requirements.
• Direct inspection planning, acceptance criteria, training, certification, and daily execution for final inspection personnel.
