Job summary

Firecrest Aerospace is seeking a Quality Manager to establish and scale the QMS for a new turbine engine assembly and test facility in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. The role starts as an IC reporting to VP Propulsion Operations and evolves into a leadership position as production scales.

You will drive FPY improvements, RCCA, and supplier quality management. Ideal candidates have 7+ years in aerospace quality, AS9100 experience, and a track record of building processes from the ground up within

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in aerospace or high-reliability manufacturing quality.
• Strong knowledge of FMEA, control plans, RCCA, and inspection systems.
• Experience building quality processes for startup manufacturing environments.
• Familiarity with AS9102 and EIA-649-C is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the Quality Management System to meet aerospace requirements.
• Lead FMEA development and maintenance; drive RCCA and corrective actions.
• Oversee inspection, metrology, calibration, MRB and nonconformance handling.
• Partner with Operations, Engineering and Supply Chain to scale quality.
• Prepare organization for eventual AS9100 certification audit.
