Job summary

A precision manufacturer is seeking a Quality Manager to oversee quality systems and inspections at their facility in Meriden, CT. This role is responsible for maintaining the AS9100 quality program, guiding metrology and CMM standards, and leading quality assurance teams to meet production demands. Qualifications

• Experience as a quality inspector plus leadership/supervisory background.
• Strong GD&T and SPC/Six Sigma skills.
• Familiarity with AS9100/ISO9001 environments.
• Knowledge of aerospace or precision manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the AS9100 Quality Management System.
• Lead quality assurance and inspection teams.
• Build inspection plans and set plant-wide CMM guidelines.
• Provide expertise on GD&T, SPC, and root-cause problem-solving.
• Partner with engineering and manufacturing to drive quality performance.
• Identify training needs and support team development.
