Job summary

ConexSmart is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to serve as the final checkpoint before products leave the facility. You will inspect cable and wire products, document non-conformances, and coordinate with production and QA teams to uphold engineering standards and quality requirements.

The role requires strong attention to detail, hands-on experience with soldering, crimping, testing equipment, and the ability to read engineering drawings.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Three years’ experience in aerospace wire harness assembly, fabrication, production, aerospace manufacturing, or a similar field preferred.
• Working knowledge of quality assurance processes in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with ITAR Export Control compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with IPC 620
• Familiarity with AS9100D
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Experience with quality data entry and report generation.

Responsibilities

• Inspect work-in-process products according to defined procedures.
• Document product non-conformities and communicate findings to the production team and QA Supervisor.
• Analyze non-conformance issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Assist in developing and improving quality processes.
• Suggest and implement process improvements to enhance quality and efficiency.
• Support quality data entry and generate reports as needed.
• Assist with product release documentation.
• Internal: Collaborates with the production team, engineering department, and quality management.
• External: May interact with external auditors or regulatory bodies to support compliance efforts.
