Job summary

Crane Aerospace & Electronics in Lynnwood, WA is seeking a Quality Technician to support conformity and source inspections, audits and process improvements. You will train inspectors, assist with FAIRs and FAA DMIR activities, and participate in AS13001 certification efforts.

Qualifications

• 1–7 years of manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of basic mechanical and electrical measurement tools.
• Ability to interpret and instruct others on specifications.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Eligibility related to ITAR considerations is required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate products and processes to verify compliance with drawings and specs.
• Obtain certification for DQR source inspection and FAA DMIR activities.
• Program Coordinate Measurement Machine (CMM) and back up inspection duties.
• Assist in preparing and approving First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs).
• Conduct internal audits and develop checklists for audits.
• Evaluate products for defects, correct assembly, tolerances and finishes.
• Observe processes for compliance with guidelines and requirements.
• Perform defect data sorting and issue NCRs or corrective actions.
• Debrief management on activities and propose solutions.
• Provide training on inspection skills and process measurement.
• Become certified to AS13001.
