Job summary

Crane Aerospace & Electronics in Lynnwood, WA is seeking a Quality Technician to support conformity and source inspections, audits and process improvements in our manufacturing environment.

The role involves AS13001/DMIR related activities, CMM programming and FAIR preparation, with opportunities to mentor inspectors and drive corrective actions. Onsite work with a strong benefits package and career growth in a global aerospace leader.

Qualifications

• 1–7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of basic mechanical and electrical measurement tools.
• Ability to understand and instruct others on internal, industry or customer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate products against drawings, samples, inspection requirements and process specs.
• Perform customer DQR source inspection and FAA DMIR activities.
• Program CMM and back up inspection duties as needed.
• Prepare, review and approve First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs).
• Conduct internal audits and develop checklists for audits.
• Issue NCRs or corrective actions as needed.
• Provide training to operators and inspectors on inspection skills and process measurement.
