Job summary

Unitek Technical Services Inc. seeks an Aerospace Quality Inspector to perform in-process and final inspections using visual, mechanical, and GD&T methods to ensure compliance with customer, engineering, and regulatory requirements.

You will read and interpret drawings, operate CMM and precision tools, collaborate with CNC operators, and help develop quality plans and inspection procedures. This W2 contract position requires 2+ years in quality inspection and offers opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of quality inspection experience in manufacturing.
• Experience reading drawings and GD&T requirements.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and AS9100 is preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and final inspections using hand tools and CMM for conformance.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T requirements and specifications.
• Identify defects; communicate with CNC operators and production staff.
• Assist with quality plans, inspection procedures, test methods, and records.
• Provide training to operators on inspection techniques and standards.
• Maintain and calibrate inspection equipment; keep work area clean and organized.
• Follow safety policies and industry regulations.
