Job summary

RBC Aerostructures LLC in Westminster, SC is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Inspector who will perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections, read blueprints, and ensure compliance with customer, engineering, and regulatory requirements.

You will maintain calibration systems, document inspection results, and support continuous improvement on the factory floor, using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and other precision tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with 1–3 years quality inspection experience.
• Experience managing and maintaining calibration systems.
• Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills.
• Proficiency using inspection and measuring equipment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the gage calibration system.
• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and routers.
• Identify and communicate quality concerns and nonconformances.
• Complete FAIRs and maintain quality documentation.
• Support customer audits and interact with customer representatives.
• Assist with troubleshooting quality issues and continuous improvement.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
