Job summary

G3 Aerospace LLC is seeking a dependable Quality Inspector to join our manufacturing team. This role inspects aerospace components and assemblies to ensure compliance with customer requirements, drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

The ideal candidate will excel in a fast-paced environment, maintain meticulous inspection records, and contribute to releasing only conforming product to customers. Experience with calipers, micrometers, and reading engineering drawings is highly valued

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous quality inspection or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Aerospace/precision manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and tolerances.
• Experience using calipers, micrometers, and other inspection equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections of manufactured aerospace components.
• Inspect parts for dimensional, visual, and workmanship requirements.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, tolerances, and inspection requirements.
• Use standard inspection equipment such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools.
• Verify manufactured parts conform to drawings and customer requirements.
• Complete and maintain accurate inspection and quality records.
• Identify and document nonconforming material or workmanship.
• Work with Production, Engineering, and Quality personnel to resolve inspection and manufacturing issues.
• Support First Article Inspections (FAIs) and associated documentation as required.
• Verify identification, traceability, and documentation requirements prior to product release.
• Assist with maintaining compliance with G3 Aerospace's quality management system.
• Follow all company safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures.
• Perform other quality-related duties as assigned.
