Job summary

Heads Up Technologies is seeking an Aerospace Quality Inspector to ensure components and processes meet aerospace standards. You will perform detailed inspections, review documentation for traceability, and support airworthiness through AS9102 and FAA-compliant practices.

The role requires experience with precision metrology, GD&T, and ERP/MRP systems, with a focus on accuracy and regulatory adherence in Addison, TX onsite.

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret complex blueprints and drawings.
• Must be proficient with GD&T symbols and interpretation.
• Experience with precision inspection tools and equipment.
• Strong written and verbal communication for audit findings.

Responsibilities

• Inspect raw materials, in-process parts, and assemblies to ensure conformance.
• Operate metrology tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, and CMM.
• Review and verify First Article Inspection Reports per AS9102 and related docs.
• Issue FAA Form 8130-3 in compliance with FAA regulations and airworthiness rules.
• Audit processes to ensure AS9100 and regulatory compliance.
• Identify and segregate nonconforming materials; initiate root cause analysis.
