Qualifications

• 2 years of related inspection or QA experience.
• Experience using precision measuring equipment (calipers, ring/pin gages, comparators).
• 2 years of QA inspection methods and procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Ability to pass a documented color vision and near vision examination.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, verify, and document product quality throughout the manufacturing and supply chain process.
• Verify product conformance to engineering and design requirements.
• Provide objective evidence and documentation of inspection results.
• Conduct dimensional inspections according to design records and documented AQL requirements.
• Perform visual inspections to identify defects and non-conformances.
• Inspect incoming materials and outgoing shipments for specifications.
• Review certifications and documentation to verify traceability.
• Segregate and control non-conforming products and materials.
• Assist with disposition of non-conforming items.
• Use precision tools (calipers, micrometers, ring/pin gages, comparators, indicators).
• Verify special orders and processing requirements.
• Communicate with vendors about certification and quality documentation.
• Support AS9100 and quality standards compliance.
• Provide mentorship to inspection team.
