Job summary

Pursuit Aerospace in South Windsor, CT, is seeking a Quality Inspector to perform mechanical and visual inspections on machined, tubes and sheet metal components. The role requires ensuring accuracy and adherence to specifications on the first shift, Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm.

Responsibilities include using calipers, micrometers, CMM and other inspection tools; identifying non-conforming material and documenting defects; demonstrating mechanical aptitude; and complying with

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of quality related experience.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be able to work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.

Responsibilities

• Check all work by mechanical and electronic inspection methods to ensure accuracy and completeness of layouts and correctness of machining or processing.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspection using inspection tools and gauges, and CMM.
• Identify non-conforming material and complete defect reports.
• Demonstrate a good mechanical aptitude.
• Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
