Job summary

Nat Aerospace Processing and National Aerospace Processing (NAP) in Stow, OH, are seeking a Quality Inspector to perform in-process and final inspections, audits, and conformity checks to meet customer specs and PO requirements. You will interpret aerospace and industry standards and maintain associated paperwork.

The role includes supporting Lean initiatives, training, and safety protocols while ensuring records and certifications are kept up to date.

Qualifications

• 2+ years manufacturing experience.
• Demonstrated competency with metrology equipment.
• Experience following written work instructions and blueprints.
• Able to work in a team environment and cross trained for multiple assignments.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and ERP systems (Vantage and/or E-10 preferred).
• Physical requirements: lift up to 40 lbs., stand for long periods, and pass pre-employment screening.

Responsibilities

• Inspect/audit product using basic variable or attribute measuring equipment and record results to ensure conformance with part and customer requirements.
• Read and understand aerospace specifications, military specifications, industry specs, and/or manufacturing instructions.
• Read and interpret basic print requirements.
• Review, control and maintain paperwork, docs, certs, and records.
• Process nonconformances using NAP’s QMS.
• Provide support for Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
