Job summary

RTCA is seeking an Aerospace Quality Inspector to work onsite in Rockford, MI. You will perform dimensional inspections on precision aerospace components, reading engineering drawings and GD&T, and supporting incoming, in-process, and final inspections on the shop floor.

Strong attention to detail and collaboration with Manufacturing and Engineering are essential; training for Zeiss CMMs is available if needed. This full-time role includes comprehensive medical, dental, and retirement benefits.

Qualifications

• Hands-on dimensional inspection using precision measuring equipment.
• Ability to read/interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Experience documenting inspection results and quality records.

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional inspection of aerospace components on the production floor.
• Support incoming, in-process, and final inspections with accuracy.
• Read drawings, document nonconformances, and communicate findings.
• Assist with First Article Inspection (FAI) and CMM programming as needed.
• Maintain inspection records and support continuous improvement.
