Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training in quality control preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a quality inspection or QA role within manufacturing, preferably military or defense.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process inspections and measurements and record results per quality requirements.
• Conduct visual inspections of painted parts across conversion lines to verify customer specs.
• Select and test products at stages of painting and coating processes including temperature, thickness, adhesion, pH testing.
• Verify paperwork and certifications are present and maintained at workstations.
• Interpret blueprints and GD&T to confirm specifications and tolerances for machined components.
• Use precision inspection tools to complete dimensional reports and ensure conformance.
• Initiate containment activities for discrepancies; support RCA, CAPA, and SPC initiatives.
• Conduct supplier audits and assess compliance; ensure equipment calibration and maintenance.
• Communicate quality issues and improvements with engineering, production, and program management.
