Job summary

Triumph Group is seeking a Quality Inspector in Missouri to perform final, first article and in-process inspections of aerospace jet engine components. You will read blueprints, apply geometric tolerancing, and use micrometers, bore gauges, thread gauges, sine plates and indicators.

Documentation duties include AS9102 FAI reports and IMS sheets; training others as needed. The role requires strong communication, problem solving and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while

Qualifications

• Must have strong attention to detail and concise documentation habits.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with customer focus.
• Ability to apply geometry and trigonometry to solve inspection problems.

Responsibilities

• Final inspection of aerospace jet engine components and in-process inspection.
• Use of micrometers, bore gauges, thread gauges, sine plates and indicators.
• Read and interpret aerospace blueprints and AS9102 First Article Inspection requirements.
• Maintain quality documentation such as MRBs, FAI reports and IMS sheets.
• Train other inspectors or operators in inspection methods as required.
