PCC Structurals – Carson City is seeking an entry-level Quality Inspector to support Final Dimensional Verification for aerospace castings and components. You will use precision measurement tools and inspect against technical instructions to ensure parts meet requirements.

No prior quality inspection experience is required, and the role offers opportunities to develop skills in aerospace manufacturing. You will learn to read blueprints and follow inspection procedures in a team environment.

Qualifications

• This is an entry-level role suitable for candidates who notice small details and want to develop inspection skills.
• Prior quality inspection experience is not required; willingness to learn is key.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical documents with guidance.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of aerospace castings and components.
• Use calipers, micrometers, height gauges, pin gauges and other inspection tools.
• Verify part identification, job numbers, and traceability throughout inspection.
• Read and follow job routers, work instructions, blueprints, certifications, and technique cards.
• Apply basic shop math and print-reading skills during inspections.
• Complete inspection plans, records, and other required documentation accurately.
• Track production and inspection activity in E1 or other applicable systems.
• Handle and transport parts carefully to prevent damage.
• Support production timelines and meet established cycle-time expectations.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
