Job summary

Spirit AeroSystems, Inc. seeks an Inspector to support composite fuselage and propulsion fabrication, assembly, and related systems inspection.

You will interpret drawings and specifications, apply precision inspection methods, and ensure compliance with Quality Management System standards. Ideal candidates have strong technical knowledge of production processes, good communication, and the ability to cross-train across multiple disciplines.

Qualifications

• Must be willing and able to work any shift.
• Must pass a vision exam.
• Proficiency in basic computer operations.
• 2 yrs manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Inspect composite fuselage fabrication and assembly and related propulsion work.
• Interpret drawings, inspection manuals and specifications, and use precision measuring instruments.
• Operate inspection machines and tools; calculate and record results.
• Maintain and prepare quality records; ensure compliance with QMS policies.
• Coordinate with other company organizations or customer representatives as required.
• Follow inspection procedures to accept or reject parts and assemblies.
• Verify that tools are qualified and certifications are maintained.
