Job summary

Figeac Aero North America is seeking a Quality Inspector for 2nd and 3rd shifts in Wichita, KS. You will perform visual and dimensional inspections on large aluminum machined parts and read engineering drawings and CATIA models.

Candidates should have a high school diploma and 2+ years in aerospace inspection, with strong communication and teamwork skills. Shift differential applies and opportunity for training is available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of quality inspection experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment, preferred.
• Experience with aerospace machining inspection, preferred.
• Must possess excellent communication skills both written and oral.
• Ability to work on a team as well as independently.
• Must have strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections on large aluminium machined parts. (<20+ feet)
• Parts will be inspected to engineering drawings, industry standards, and specifications.
• Read and interpret models (Catia), Drawings, and Parts lists
• Apply attention to detail to Drawings, Production Processes, Work Orders, etc
• Verifies completion of Quality documents and accurate representation of product flow throughout the process
• Use measuring tools such as caliper's, micrometer, height gage, and dial indicators as needed
• Create NCRs as needed if parts are non-conforming.
