Job summary

Sonaca North America is seeking a Quality Inspector in Vista, CA to perform inspection functions on assembled parts and validate processes for compliance with our Quality System.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints and customer instructions, preparing documentation, and maintaining accurate inspection records. The role may require overtime, weekend work, and adherence to safety standards on the manufacturing floor.

Qualifications

• Must read and comprehend American English.
• Ability to read, interpret, and understand customer drawings, mylars and sketches.
• Develop working knowledge of internal procedures and customer requirements.
• Proficiency with the Work Order Tracking Program and the SharePoint Quality System.

Responsibilities

• Inspect products and documents at various production stages to validate processes.
• Enter data into the Work Order Tracking System; record notes and data.
• Document Nonconforming Material per Quality System Requirements.
• Identify part deficiencies and help prevent recurrences.
• Determine acceptability of product per work order and customer requirements.
• Follow safety requirements and enforce compliance.
• Able to work overtime including weekends on short notice.
• Assist in problem-solving in work centers and with customers.
