Job summary

Blue Origin LLC in Seattle seeks an Avionics Quality Engineer to drive conformance through quality processes for development and production. You will audit, analyze, and improve quality systems, review build documents, and support MRB, FMEA, and AS9100 compliance.

Collaboration with design, product management and production is essential to reduce defects and ensure safety in spaceflight. Requirements include a B.S.

Qualifications

• B.S. in engineering with 6+ years of relevant experience in quality.
• Quality experience in aerospace, space launch, military or aviation preferred.
• Familiarity with AS9100/ISO9000 quality systems and programs.
• Excellent communication, organization, attention to detail, and initiative.
• U.S. citizenship or eligible for U.S. work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Establish, implement, maintain, and enforce quality system processes.
• Measure, analyze, and improve quality system performance.
• Review and approve manufacturing build documents and nonconformance records.
• Conduct periodic AS9100 audits and support design reviews for manufacturability.
• Provide QA domain expertise to inspection, manufacturing, and test teams.
