Job summary

Arnold Magnetic Technologies is seeking a quality engineer to support military, aerospace, energy and industrial applications by defining quality requirements for new launches and post-launch production. You will ensure customer requirements and compliance across RCCA, QMS, and supplier quality, while driving continuous improvement through data analysis and problem solving.

Travel may be required to support projects and supplier development.

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering or 5 years relevant experience.
• Proficient in gage metrology, with a strong understanding of measurement principles and practices.
• Ability to read and understand product drawings & GD&T.
• Proficiency with computers and software programs including Microsoft Office (Word/ PowerPoint/ Excel).
• Experience with inspection techniques and knowledge of statistical sampling plans.
• Clear and effective communication with all levels of personnel.

Responsibilities

• Perform contract review for new or revised products.
• Ensure QMS conforms to customer, internal, AS 9102, and regulatory requirements.
• Generate inspection documentation to meet customer requirements.
• Mentor and guide QA technicians.
• Prepare First Article Inspection Reports per AS 9102.
• Prepare PPAP packages as required.
• Define supplier quality requirements and assist in resolving supplier quality issues.
• Support receiving and inspection activities.
• Participate in maintenance of the QMS program.
• Assist RCCA process on quality problems from audits, returns or scrap.
• Train personnel in quality tools and processes.
• Drive continuous improvement within the organization.
