Job summary

RTX is seeking a Quality Engineer intern at its Andover, MA location to learn how quality interfaces drive performance across defense programs. You will collaborate with OSCQ teams to apply lean and agile methods and support rapid issue closure in a results‑oriented environment.

You must be pursuing a bachelor’s or advanced degree in a STEM field, be enrolled through the internship, and be able to obtain a U.S. security clearance.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience with Quality and Mission Assurance processes and tools
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required, U.S. citizenship required
• Experience may be obtained through on‑the‑job experience, coursework, or projects

Responsibilities

• Be the Quality interface and drive overall quality performance including continuous improvement
• Support lean/agile methodologies and rapid closure of issues with analytical skills and cross‑functional collaboration
• Review and ensure contract and program requirements are met
• Interface with supplier base to resolve open issues and ensure compliance
