Job summary

Raytheon Tucson is seeking a Quality Engineer to ensure manufacturing processes meet Quality and Engineering standards. You will lead root cause investigations, provide corrective actions, and collaborate with quality, manufacturing, and program teams on process improvements.

The role requires a STEM degree and 2 years of engineering experience, with the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance. This onsite position offers growth within aLeading aerospace and defense company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in STEM with 2 years of engineering experience, including quality/manufacturing engineering.
• Experience interpreting technical drawings.
• Experience using root cause and corrective action tools.
• Experience using quality tools (Pareto analysis, cause/effect diagrams, process mapping).
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure manufacturing processes and product builds comply with Quality and Engineering requirements.
• Drive root cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Provide analysis and recommendations for nonconformities and design problems.
• Lead alignment with quality and manufacturing teams and shop floor personnel.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for quality, efficiency, and cost.
• Ensure project and process documentation complies with requirements and contracts.
• Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and team members.
