Job summary

Ducommun, Inc. in Huntsville, AR seeks a Quality Engineer to support current and future aerospace manufacturing quality requirements and drive productivity improvements.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze customer POs, and lead corrective actions to resolve product issues. The role requires a bachelor’s in engineering and at least 2 years’ experience in production/inventory control, with familiarity in ISO/AS environments and ITAR/EAR compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
• 2 years experience maintaining production and inventory control standards in a manufacturing setting.
• Prior experience with ISO or AS environments a plus.
• ITAR/EAR compliance: U.S. Persons must meet export controls requirements.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze customer PO for compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional groups; provide weekly updates on open actions.
• Assist problem investigations across teams.
• Recommend efficient, quality-focused processes for continual improvement.
• Provide manufacturing support including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Serve as QA representative at required meetings.
• Coordinate CAR responses with customers.
• Data mine for defect trends and KPI analysis.
• Assist internal audits and process audits to ensure QMS compliance.
• Monitor personnel and processes to ensure policy adherence.
