Job summary

Trelleborg Sealing Solutions in Renton, WA is seeking a Quality Engineer to support AS9100-compliant quality activities for aerospace components across programs. You will translate requirements into inspection plans, controls, and supplier flow-downs to ensure product conformity and audit readiness.

The role covers risk-based thinking, nonconformance management, MRB support, and data-driven improvement to prevent defects and ensure timely closure of quality issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline is required.
• 3+ years in quality/manufacturing/process engineering in a regulated environment.
• 2+ years with nonconformance management, RCA, CAPA, MRB, and resolving quality issues.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer, regulatory, and aerospace requirements into inspection plans, controls, and flow-downs.
• Lead investigations for nonconformances and suppliers; drive containment and corrective actions.
• Prepare and submit AS9102 FAIR/FAIR reports and evidence.
• Support MRB activities and ensure risk-based containment and compliance.
• Conduct and support internal, supplier, customer, and third-party audits.
