Job summary

TRC Talent Solutions is seeking a Quality Auditor in San Jose, CA to independently assess the effectiveness of the QMS, internal controls, and compliant processes. You will partner with cross-functional teams to conduct audits, drive corrective actions, and identify improvement opportunities.

Responsibilities include developing the audit plan, evaluating compliance with AS9100D/ISO 9001/FAA regs, documenting findings, and leading RCCA activities.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of internal auditing experience in aerospace or regulated manufacturing.
• ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor certification.
• Strong QMS and quality compliance knowledge.
• Experience with root-cause analysis using 8D, 5 Whys, or Fishbone.
• Proficiency with audit tracking systems and quality documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to present to leadership.
• Highly organized, analytical, detail-oriented.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the annual internal audit plan based on risk.
• Conduct audits and assess compliance with AS9100D, ISO 9001, FAA regs, and procedures.
• Document findings and present results to leadership.
• Lead corrective and preventive actions and RCCA tracking.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on root cause investigations.
• Verify effectiveness and closure of corrective actions.
• Support external audits and regulatory inspections.
• Monitor quality trends and identify process improvements.
• Maintain audit records per quality and regulatory requirements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across ops/eng.
