Job summary

Boeing in Kansas is seeking a seasoned Quality Engineer to audit policies, processes and procedures ensuring compliance with program contracts, customer and regulatory requirements. You will review products, processes, equipment and measurement systems while driving corrective actions and continuous improvement.

The role requires 5+ years in quality, proficiency with Microsoft Office, strong communication and ability to work across departments and with suppliers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in Quality in a Specialist, Quality Engineer or Management role.
• Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
• Must have good communication skills.
• Basic Engineering Blueprint/Specification understanding.
• Experience working across departments and/or with suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Perform audits of policies, processes and procedures to ensure compliance to program/contract, company, customer/government, regulatory requirements, international standards, and working agreements.
• Conduct research and use benchmarking to industry standards.
• Conduct quality system / process reviews, provide customer interface, and ensure preventive and corrective action.
• Review products, processes, equipment, and measurement systems.
• Develop or utilize statistical process improvement methods.
• Provide technical expertise to company employees,suppliers, customers, and regulatory agencies.
• Ensures compliance with contractual, company, and regulatory requirements to assure quality system compliance.
• Provide education and coaching on the Quality Management System.
