Job summary

Spencer Composites, a wholly owned subsidiary of X-Bow Systems, is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist/Inspector to operate coordinate measuring machines and calibrated hand instruments to inspect and measure manufactured parts and components for quality control purposes. Spencer Composites is located in Sacramento, CA and this is an on-site position.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Experience operating CMM equipment and reading drawings.
• Knowledge of GD&T concepts is a plus.
• Ability to document measurements accurately.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CMM, Laser Tracker, FARO Arm to measure parts.
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints and specs.
• Program CMM software to create measurement routines.
• Conduct inspections and record data precisely.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain calibration records.
